temple grandin s.w.o.t. analysis part 2...

Strength

            Temple Grandin an autistic woman who has become one of the top scientists in the humane livestock handling industry. Being autistic with such outstanding achievement, it encourage me in many ways, time will come I will have my phd as well as her.

            With relation to agsc 6, her idea of having an appropriate design and facilities in slaughtering helps a lot to the industry, reducing the stress of the animals before slaughtering provide us the quality meat. It also lessens the percentage of loss due to drowning or mishandling of animals. The design was based on the natural behaviour of animals and because it is natural, fewer workers are needed to operate the facilities and it is good for the investor. Fewer workers, improved outputs lead to more profit.

            As a person suffering from being autistic, I think one of her strength is being bless with sharp photographic memory. She has the imagination like no other .This ability leads her to what she is right now

Weakness

Not knowing her, you have that doubt whether to believe or to trust what she was saying. Is that invention really works? Is it ok to adapt an idea come from an autistic? Should I invest my money? That was the question.

Her weakness is her being autistic, her behaviour.  She had that feeling of discomfort in front of many people (gathering in their house for her masters), she had that unexplainable fears (ex. Her room in her aunt, the automatic door in super market)  and the lack of social life.

The cost of the entire plan is too expensive that only the big time investor can avail, imagine the price of materials, the cost of labor and the her professional fee .
